Uplifts, a leading homelift company, has announced it will be exhibiting at the Ideal Home Show 2026, taking place from 10-19 April at Olympia London.
Across ten days, Uplifts will lead the conversation around inclusive, future-ready home design with two headline stage talks, immersive stand activations, and a creative collaboration that challenges outdated perceptions of accessibility in the home.
Under the theme “Design with Dignity”, Uplifts presence at the show will demonstrate how modern homelifts can be seamlessly integrated into beautiful interiors, proving that accessibility and style are not mutually exclusive.
"Too often, accessibility is treated as an afterthought or a compromise," says Sam Stannah, CEO of Uplifts. "At the Ideal Home Show, we want to show that future-proofing your home can be aspirational, design-led and empowering. This is about dignity, independence and homes that work beautifully for every stage of life."
The exhibition marks the latest chapter in Uplifts ongoing partnership with award-winning interior designer Ayisha Onuorah, who has been working with the company to champion design-led approaches to accessibility. Together, they have been challenging industry perceptions and demonstrating how mobility solutions can enhance, rather than compromise, interior aesthetics.
Commenting on the partnership, Ayisha Onuorah said: "I'm thrilled to continue working with Uplifts on such an important mission. Their commitment to proving that accessibility and beautiful design can go hand in hand is vital – not just for the industry, but for changing how we think about homes that serve us at every stage of life. Creating a bespoke fabric for the show is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate how even the smallest design details can transform functional features into something truly special."
For the Ideal Home Show, Onuorah will be designing a bespoke fabric exclusively for a homelift on display in the Dream Home, a collaboration that brings her signature style to functional design and showcases the creative possibilities of accessible home features.
On opening day, Friday 10 April at 2pm, Uplifts will host its first stage talk, Designing with dignity: creating stylish homes without compromise. The panel brings together Louis Stannah, International Marketing Lead at Uplifts; award-winning interior designer Ayisha Onuorah; and Kate Sheehan, Occupational Therapist at Uplifts.
Together, they will explore how thoughtful design, innovation and collaboration can transform mobility solutions from clinical necessities into design-led features. Using real-life examples, the panel will also address the stigma surrounding accessibility and ageing in the home and why inclusive design ultimately benefits everyone.
Ayisha will also be running an “Ask the expert” clinic on the Uplifts stand, where members of the public will be invited to bring a photo of their living space to the show. Ayisha will then be on hand to give advice on how best to work with the space from a design and interior perspective with a home-lift installation in mind.
